Vintage Design
This two-level, round bar table was made by the Swedish company IKEA during the 1970s. Its form refers to the designs of the Bauhaus school and the pre-war Art dèco style. The geometric frame is made of chrome-plated tubular steel. On it there are two tops made of dark, original smoked glass. This bar table has a light form. The bar not only fulfills its practical function, but is also an interesting element of the decor.
IKEA is an international conglomerate of Swedish origin that designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, kitchen appliances and home accessories. Founded in Sweden in 1943 by 17-year-old Ingvar Kamprad, IKEA has been the world’s largest furniture retailer since 2008. The company is known for modernist designs of various types of equipment and furniture, and its arrangement works are often associated with ecological simplicity.
Bar is in original vintage condition. It has normal signs of age and use, slight scratches. The shelves are 63 x 38 cm.
