Ribbon Console Table by Remi Dubois Design

Our original piece in the Ribbon Collection. We have used a combination quarter cut ash veneers and crown cut solid ash to show the two distinctly different wood grain and pattern structures.

Inspired by eroded driftwood, the fluidity & sleek movements of a silk ribbon, this sculptural console table evokes a sense of mystery and fluidity. The figured ash veneers have been cut from the tree in successive order and carefully stacked and shaped together so that when we carve in to the form the grain & pattern structure remains as it would have been as a solid piece of wood. The shadows created by the dips and curves create a continuous fluidity to this piece.

This piece is ideal for showcasing ceramics, smaller sculptures, or what ever you think would look lovely on this console table.

Each table is unique due to its handmade nature, shapes, shades and grain vary slightly.
