Vintage Design
Rena Dumas (1937-2009) was a French architect and designer. She designed the Pippa collection together with Peter Coles in 1987, which initially consisted of a desk, a stool and a lounger. In 1993, further objects followed such as the armrest chair, screen, stool with tray and the 3-seater bench.
The 3-seater bench is made of pear wood, cowhide and brass fittings.
The Pippa series has developed over the decades into a real classic from Hermès. While the stool, desk and other objects are still in production, the 3-seater bench has been removed from the range and is not available on the official website today.
Condition:
The object is in generally good used condition.
The leather shows light to normal signs of wear. The edges and the seams are in perfect condition.
There are normal signs of wear on the wood. There are clear signs of use on the feet/underside; the wood is rubbed here.
The brass parts show patina of age.
The leather and wood are each marked by the manufacturer.
