Vintage Design
The sandstone tiles have plant prints (rosemary, laurel…typical of the scrubland). Original and simply beautiful, this iconic table is a real favorite!
The structure is made of beech wood.
Very good general condition.
Using ceramics and glazed stoneware extensively for pieces of furniture, Roger Capron made them his signature. Based in Vallauris from 1946, the former student of the School of Applied Arts founded a small factory employing nearly 50 workers at its peak. His pieces are today visible in museums such as that of Vallauris (Magnelli Museum) or the National Ceramic Museum of Sèvres.
This table clearly bears the signature of the Capron workshop
