Vintage Design
Painted or polished chrome steel work and conversation chairs, pony leather seat and back dating from the 1960s, original with paper certification and serial numbers (attached to photos). The tilting backrest promotes continuity of rest in different working positions. The armrests, two continuous strips of leather, rotate with movable play around the ends of the uprights. It is inspired by the “safari” chair already used by Le Corbusier in some of his interiors, in terms of conformation, the mobility of the backrest and the presence of straps. The modulated cubic geometry that envelops it and the knobs of the rhythes, refer us to the image of the faldystorium. These pieces retain the original engravings in the frames below. Product in good condition, with some signs of time.
