Vintage Design
Here is a small school desk that charms us with its classicism and sobriety. This children’s furniture dates from the 1950s and will perhaps bring back memories for some. But beyond the madeleine, it is a very practical little piece of furniture for first drawings and DIY projects.
The desk is made of solid oak and painted tubular metal. It is old, functional; the metal is oxidized in places, the wood is nicely patinated. The drawer is missing.
